TikTok is currently flooded with ads promoting Rolex Submariner watches, specifically the M124060-0001 41mm model, for less than $200. These offers are scams, claiming you can get a high-end luxury watch for a fraction of its real cost. It’s important that you always verify the seller and the authenticity of the product before making a purchase. Here’s what we discovered about this scam.
Is The Rolex Submariner Real Or Fake
Olex-watch.com sells a fake Rolex Submariner for just $169. It’s not the official Rolex website (which is rolex.com) and is using the Rolex logo without permission. The real Rolex Submariner M124060-0001 41mm model costs $11,495.

Red flags associated with Olex-watch.com
There are lots of websites out there selling fake Rolex wrist watches and olex-watch.com is not the first. Firstly we discovered the website was recently created in July 18, 2024 and is set to expire July 18,2025. This is very typical of untrustworthy websites.
Secondly, There are no customer reviews or testimonials online to prove that anyone received a watch after ordering. We found no reviews on genuine review sites like Trustpilot.
Thirdly, The website uses the Rolex logo and images stolen from the official Rolex website. Rolex.com has not authorized Olex-watch.com as a third-party seller and does not recognize its services. If you want a real Rolex watch, buy from rolex.com or other legitimate vendors.
How To Spot A Fake Rolex
- Check the Seller: Trust the seller. Look at reviews and their online presence.
- Second Hand: Real Rolex moves smoothly, fake ones tick.
- Movement: Rolex should be mechanical. Quartz models are rare.
- Weight: Real Rolexes are heavy. Stainless steel: 100-160g, gold: 190-220g, platinum: 240-270g.
- Engravings: Deep serial numbers. Models after 2002 have a crown logo at 6 o’clock.
