Moda Toronto Review: Scam or Legit Quality Clothing Store?

By Samantha Jul30,2024

Moda-toronto.com offers 60% discounts on clothes and promises free shipping in all of Canada. However, it’s not a genuine offer you should jump on. You might not get anything at all or receive poor-quality or fake items when you order from the store. Here are some red flags we discovered:

Moda-toronto.com website

Moda Toronto Details

Moda-toronto.com claims to be a Canadian clothing store but lists a Netherland address ‘LTS COMMERCE West 25 1621 AT Hoorn The Netherlands KvK – 91611237’ on their site. On further investigations, the same address has been used by a suspicious clothing store ‘Nuova Melbourne’ which shares similar website design and product images with Moda Toronto.

Reviews indicate the store is physically located in HongKong China. They offer many clothes at discounted prices, but deliver inferior items that are far different from what is displayed on the site. This is likely the case with Moda Toronto.

Red Flags Of Moda-toronto.com

Recently Registered Website

The site’s registration information shows that Moda-toronto.com was recently created. The domain was registered on June 26, 2024, and will expire on June 26, 2025. This shows the store lacks reputation and might easily shut down anytime soon.

Hard to Get Refunds

The site says it has a 30-day return and refund policy, but there are many warnings about how the website does not honour it. What does this mean for customers? When you make an order, you can’t get your money back or you would be made to pay exorbitant shipping fee to China.

Too-Good-to-Be-True Deals

The website advertises prices that seem too good to be true on everything. They use deceptive ads on social media with these amazing deals to lure customers to their site and encourage them to buy.

No Social Media Accounts

The products are largely advertised on social media but the website does not have any social media accounts, this lack of information makes it very hard to trust this online store.

Limited Contact Info

The only way to contact them on the moda-toronto.com website is through the email [email protected], which seems to be not working. There are no other contact options provided.

What Happens When You Order from Moda-toronto.com

When you order from this online store, you’d likely receive items that are below par, of poor quality, wrong size, texture or design. This is because Moda Toronto are not the original designers of the clothes displayed on their website. The owner(s) of the clothing store steals off images from reputable designers, pass them off as theirs, and then make a cheap imitation.

Aside from receiving poor quality clothes, customers could get overcharged, receive nothing at all, or even get added to a shady VIP membership subscription.

What To Do If You Got Scammed
