Do you want to buy Fire Blaze lighter? Is this dual lighter and torch worth the price or is it another fad product? In this review, I share my experience using FireBlaze lighter, its pros, cons, and everything you need to know before buying this electric lighter.
Product Description
Fire Blaze lighter which is sold at buyfireblaze.com is said to be an electric lighter that does not make use of gas. According to its video promotion, it was invented by someone in the military so it acts as a dual-arc torch lighter that can’t be beat by rain, snow, wind, or cold
Not having to worry about when the gas in a lighter will finish sounds pretty good to me, curious I decided to try it out.
My Experience Using FireBlaze Lighter
I placed an order for Fire Blaze Lighter at $39.99 each on buyfireblaze.com. My order surprisingly took two weeks to be delivered as it came all the way from China (which I honestly didn’t expect).
On first use, I was totally disappointed. First of all, the advertising is false. Fire Blaze lighter actually uses gas ‘Butane’. The USB port doesn’t work for charging, so it’s just for fancy.
The flames are not adjustable. The button doesn’t work for adjusting the length ranging from 1 to 7 inches as claimed. When switched on, it works pretty good but if you try to use it with the flame towards the ground, the flame ends up going out because the butane can’t come out anymore. It would be nice if it would be able to do that though. Using it for creme brulee takes multiple ignitions and flipping it upside and then back down, the flame is not consistent.
When I used the lighter during camping, it wasn’t windproof as claimed. I had to cover the flame with my palms or else the wind blew it off.
Is Fire Blaze Lighter a Scam?
I feel scammed after spending a whopping $39 on Fire Blaze lighter. It uses butane gas not electricity. The USB port is just for fancy, as it doesn’t work for charging. When I contacted buyfireblaze.com for a refund, the company claimed they were out of rechargeable lighters and only have butane refills. They also offer to return half of the money $20, which isn’t a good bargain as refillable butane lighters cost between $2 – $5 each.
Pros:
- It looks like a torch
- Its pretty easy to use
Cons:
- It is sold with deceptive advertising
- FireBlaze Lighter is made in China, not US.
- Delivery takes weeks

Conclusion
Overall, the Fire Blaze lighter is a scam product that fails to live up to its claim. It’s also sold with false invention story, and was formerly known as Bright Fire.
