Is Flowerwalldreams.com Legit or Scam? My Findings

By Samantha Oct31,2024

Flowerwalldreams.com has various home decoration and floral walls for sale which may catch your eyes. It’s important to know if it’s a safe online store before shopping. Below, I reveal my findings about Flowerwalldreams.com; Why you could get scammed.

What is Flowerwalldreams.com?

Flowerwalldreams.com is an online store that sells household gadgets and decoration items for discount price. The store is trending due to its $39 Wedding Venues Celebration Floral Wall. Though this looks like a great bargain, the online store has some red flags which you should know;

My Findings on Flowerwalldreams.com – What You Should Know

Unverifiable Reviews

The customer reviews and ratings on flowerwalldreams.com are quite suspicious. It’s very unusual for a store to have only 5 star ratings. Also, if more than 600 customers were indeed satisfied with the product there ought to be reviews elsewhere aside from the website.

Lacks Transparency

The home decor store is clearly hiding their address because they don’t want customers to know where they’re located. This is often the case with online stores located in China. They might create the impression of being an American or UK brand whereas they’re operating from a warehouse in China.

Questionable Product Quality

Flowerwalldreams.com claims the flower walls are handmade but this is untrue. They’re synthetic and made with machine. Customers might receive a smaller sized flower wall that doesn’t match the measurement given on the website.

Dubious Shipping Info

Though Flowerwalldreams.com claims to ship from Ottawa, California, London, Canberra and United Kingdom, it actually ships from China. Shipping and delivery takes between 2 – 3 weeks.

Might Shut Down Anytime

flowerwalldreams was launched in May 2024 and would expire in May 2025. This indicates the website was created for a short term plan. Reputable websites typically register domains for multiple years, indicating stability and a commitment to their business.

Limited Communication Options

Despite targeting U.S. customers, flowerwalldreams.com provides only an email ‘[email protected]‘ no telephone number or walk-in store address. This makes it difficult for customers to verify the company’s legitimacy.

Questionable Ethics

The content on the website are generic. The About Us, Terms of Service and Privacy Policy have been copied. While this act doesn’t indicate it’s a fraudulent store, legitimate business always source and provide their own legal pages in order to protect both the business and customers right.

No Social Media Presence

Flowerwalldreams doesn’t have an active social media presence in this time when social media marketing is king.

Is Flowerwalldreams.com Legit or Scam Store?

My findings indicate Flowerwalldreams.com isn’t a legitimate online store to shop from. Customers could get scammed either by non-delivery of products, delivery of inferior products or unauthorized credit card charges. This is typical of online shopping scams.

What To Do If You Got Scammed

Cancel your credit card

Immediately call your financial provider and cancel your credit card. By so doing, the credit card details you used for your transaction would become null and wouldn’t be charged in the future by the store.

Request for a new card

After the old credit card has been cancelled, ask for a new card, it doesn’t cost much to get one.Your credit card issuer will issue you a new one with different numbers.

Report the Fraud To Relevant Authorities

Report the scam to relevant authorities and organizations. This includes:

  • Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3): If you are in the United States, you can file a complaint with the IC3 at https://www.ic3.gov/.
  • Your Local Consumer Protection Agency: Contact your local consumer protection agency or the equivalent regulatory body in your country.
  • Better Business Bureau (BBB): File a complaint with the BBB if the online store is based in the United States.
