I Tried The Spartan Hair Activator Shampoo For Two Weeks: Here Is My Review

By maria Nov6,2024

Do you want to buy Spartan Hair Shampoo? Are you searching for reviews to know if this hair product works? Could it be a scam? This activator shampoo claims to soften the hair, help with hair loss and nourish the scalp but does it work?

In this review, I share my experience using Spartan Hair Shampoo, its pros, cons, side effects, and what you should expect when you buy this hair product.

About The Spartan Hair Shampoo

The Spartan brand is a company that sells lots of hair products including the Spartan Root activator shampoo which works by targeting blocked hair follicles and giving essential nutrients to nourish the scalp and hair. The brand ‘Spartan’ also has a viral reverse grey hair shampoo bar and also a Beard growth oil for men. This Shampoo can help solve the problem of hair loss and hair thinning especially for those struggling with oily hair or wanting to reverse gray hair naturally.

Ingredients

The ingredients listed on the Spartan hair root activator which I tried earlier include Licorice root extract removes toxins, Black sesame rejuvenates cells, Citric acid balances pH, and Ginger root activates follicles for healthier hair. These three key ingredients help to nourish the scalp and hair, improve scalp health, and reduce dandruff. They also strengthen hair roots and prevent hair loss.

My Experience Using Spartan Root Activator Shampoo

In the past year, my scalp started acting up. I started losing a bunch of hair thought it was because of my dry hair. It felt weird, like “sandy.” I tried lots of shampoos, but things got worse. I looked online and realized I was treating the wrong issue. Decided to give Spartan hair activator shampoo a shot. My hair’s thin and curly and I ordered from try-spartan.com, and the product was delivered in 2 days.

I’ve been using this shampoo for the past two weeks, and each time after my bath and combing, I notice less hair falling in the shower compared to before.

I’ve tried lots for thinning hair, hard to tell if they work, but seeing less hair fall makes me believe that it’s working. My husband says he sees improvement after a week, but I’m yet to see a significant difference, especially with the grey strands.

Pros

  1. Less hair fell in the shower
  2. It’s easy to use

Cons

  1. It’s a bit pricey
  2. It looks like a rebranded Mane product (same container and label)

Is The Spartan Hair Shampoo a Scam?

It’s not a scam per se, however, it does not work as advertised. While I saw some positive results ‘less hair fall in the shower’, It didn’t reverse the grey hair strands as promised. other users have complained that they didn’t notice any difference in their before and after pictures.

Are There Side Effects

Though I didn’t experience any side effects there’s a possibility of increased fizziness. Some people have also complained of discomfort and eye irritation when using the shampoo.

What Customers Are Saying

The reviews online are mixed, Some customer reeviews state that Spartan products are made in China and probably makes use of harmful ingredients that will affect customers later. Here are some of the comments i came across on Trustpilot.

So far I have seen a small improvement with my hair growing. But I do feel like it is working. Granted, it has only been 2.5 weeks since using the product so I do feel like this review is premature. I will provide another review on week six.

I tried for another 2 months, ignoring the 90-day warranty limit, but it still didn’t work. Don’t get me wrong, the lather feels really good and it leaves my hair feeling good afterwards. But did it reduce my gray? Not a single bit. Didn’t work on my head. Didn’t work on my beard. Didn’t try it anywhere else.

How To Use

  1. Wet hair with warm water.
  2. Massage in shampoo, wait 1-2 mins.
  3. Rinse well, and continue normal care.

Where To Buy

I bought my bottle of Spartan Hair Shampoo from try-spartan.com. You can buy two bottles for $29.97. Currently, it’s available on Amazon.

Issues With Try-Spartan.com

Image Issues

Many pictures on Spartan’s website seem to be taken from other websites. One, in particular, was originally from an Australian clinic, but the clinic’s name was cropped out.

Unproven Claims

Spartan says that “98% of users saw noticeable results after 55 days,” but there isn’t any research or evidence to support this claim.

Tricky Ingredient Listing

The “root activator” spray is advertised as natural, but it contains minoxidil, which raises questions about how honest the company is being.

Pushy Sales Tactics

The website pushes customers to buy a bundle that includes shampoo, conditioner, and root activator, which might make people feel pressured.

Mixed Reviews

Some users say they’ve had good results, but many reviews on forums like Reddit complain that the shampoo doesn’t help with hair regrowth or reversing gray hair.

Should You Buy The Spartan Hair Shampoo?

Yes, however do not expect a revolutionary result. The brand Spartan Hair Shampoo advertises their product to regrow hair in 6 weeks and makes use of 100% natural ingredients, and can supposedly show visible results after just six weeks. However, when I tried it for 2 weeks the results were not what I expected.
