The website uses extremely low price to bait customers on social media platforms eg – Facebook, Tiktok. Social media users reported seeing Ads with very low prices tagged ‘Black Friday Sale’ ‘80% off’ e.t.c. Upon placing an order, the online store delivers inferior jackets that are different from what is shown on the website.

Without doubt, London-elegance.com operates a bait and switch scam. Delivering inferior clothing whereas it advertises quality wears.

What are London-elegance.com Red Flags?

If you’re considering shopping London-elegance, here are red flags you should watch out for;

Fake Business Address

The website creates the impression that it is located in London. It lists its address as Hemelvuur 11, De Meern 3454SP, Utrecht but this address is an Australian address. Google search revealed it’s a non-existing address. Surprisingly, the address is being used by an online clothing store ‘Aussie-Vogue.com’ that has negative reviews online.

Stolen Product Design

The products displayed on London-elegance.com do not belong to the brand. The images were gotten from reputable fashion stores. The website then crops off the faces of the models so they wouldn’t be sued for copyright infringement.

Questionable Product Quality

Due to the fact that they are not the original designers, the website makes a cheap imitation. A typical bait and switch scam. The product delivered are always below par, of poor design, sizing and texture.

Recently Launched Business

Data gathered online revealed London-elegance.com was registered and launched in October 2024. This indicates the store hasn’t been functioning for a long time so it has no reputation to protect.

Doesn’t Accept PayPal

Lack of option for secured payment method raises a concern. Without PayPal, refund requests is ignored by the store.

Might Shut Down Anytime Soon

The website would expire in October 2025. This indicates it was created for a short term plan. Reputable websites typically register domains for multiple years, indicating stability and a commitment to their business.

Copied Legal Pages

The content on the website are generic. The About Us, Terms of Service and Privacy Policy have been copied. While this act doesn’t indicate it’s a fraudulent store, legitimate business always source and provide their own legal pages in order to protect both the business and customers right.

No Social Media Presence

London-elegance doesn’t have an active social media presence in this time when social media marketing is king. Don’t all these red flags scream SCAM?

Where is London-elegance.com Located?

London-elegance.com website registration details reveal it’s registered by an anonymous person in Hong Kong. Reviews from customers reveal the store ships items from a warehouse in China. Hence, the website is physically located in China.

There’s a huge network of scammers in China, nicknamed the ‘Uniqueness ring’. This name is due to the fact they use the same awful 2018 era dropshipping site template, and the same ‘Uniqueness’ phrase on their about page.

The scam websites run all sorts of ads. They even run ads to AliExpress junk, like other dropshippers. Then they scam customers by sending nothing or in some rare case random low-quality products.
