Is Stealth Bird 4K a Scam? What I LOVE & HATE About This Drone

By Samantha Dec18,2024

Is The Stealth Bird 4K any good? Lots of promotions claim it’s the best beginner drone in town. To find out if this is true, I purchased the drone on stealthbird4k.com

Overview of Stealth Bird 4K

Stealth Bird 4K is a drone that is been advertised on YouTube, Facebook, Google, etc. as the ideal drone for both beginners and experts. It is allegedly worth over $5000 but is sold for $99 at Shopstealthbird4k.com because of ongoing sales.

My Honest Review of Stealth Bird 4k Drone

It arrived in a box clearly marked made in CHINA not AMERICA. The drone looks well built and it gets airborne, however it has lots of flaws. First of all, the camera quality is terrible. The crystal clear footage that they advertise is not achievable.
Secondly, the drone is quite difficult to fly even as an expert that I am. Even when connected to the app, the drone seems to get a mind of its own and just looks for something to crash in to. Trimming kind of works but takes too long in which time the controls freeze and the drone crashes (again).

The 3 speed setting does not work, it is just one speed level. The obstacle avoidance setting simply does not work. It crashes into the first thing it comes across. Even the remote control doesn’t link to my phone so I have to use my phone.

Meanwhile, I ordered a spare battery estimating a total of around an hour of flight due to the advertisement but in reality I got around 10 minutes on a fully charged battery so that gave me 20 minutes even with the spare.

Is Stealth Bird 4K a Scam?

The Stealth Bird 4k drone is not a scam perse, but it’s not worth the $99 price. It’s a drone modelled after Eachine E58 and should cost less than $30.

What I Love About This Drone

  • It has a lightweight and portable design
  •  it has propeller guards

Pros: What I Hate About Stealth Bird 4k Drone

  • Has issues with connectivity and stability
  • Camera quality is poor
  • The transmission range is about 100 – 150 metres max.
  • Its battery has a short life span of 10minutes

Conclusion:

In conclusion, the Stealth Bird 4k is misleading sold as a quality drone whereas it’s a cheap Eachine E58 $30 drone. It lacks a gimball, has terrible camera quality and battery life is poor, and it’s certainly not worth $99.
