Reese was never banned, These claims are completely false. The 22-year-old underwent surgery for a fracture. The injury prevented her from finishing her impressive rookie season strongly, she sustained a wrist injury during the game against the Sparks, which led to her sitting out for the rest of the season. Reese was never caught using steroids by the WNBA, nor has she been suspended.
