Boomira Reviews – Scam Christmas Tree Website

By Samantha Nov4,2024

Did you come across Boomira 7′ to 9′ Pre Lit Fir Christmas Tree for $39.99 on Facebook? The low price might catch your eyes, but unfortunately, boomira.com is not a legit online store. Below, I reveal my findings about the fraudulent website and where to get affordable Christmas trees for the season.

Boomira Reviews

Boomira.com aka Boomira.com is an online store that sells holiday items, gifts, home decor, e.t.c. The store is trending due to its ongoing discount sale on Christmas Tree. Though the low prices is tempting, Boomira is a scam website that fails to deliver the products after collecting payment via Credit Card, PayPal, e.t.c

Red Flags Revealing Boomira.com Scam

Suspicious Company

Its company ‘FARMINGTON PTE. LTD.’ is affiliated with a handful of fraudulent online stores. Registered at  Registrar of Companies, Mumbai. It’s part of an Indian chain scam. Websites owned by the faux company run all sorts of ads on social media. Then they scam customers by non-delivery of products.

Might Shut Down Anytime Soon

Boomira.com was launched again in October 2024 and would expire in October 2025. This indicates the website was created for a short term plan. Reputable websites typically register domains for multiple years, indicating stability and a commitment to their business.

No Communication Channel

Mails sent to the website’s email address ‘[email protected]’ do not deliver. Interestingly, same email is been used by some shady websites; amhris.com, juokifeal.shop, luxuriousware.shop, e.t.c

Copied Content

The content on the website are generic. The About Us, Terms of Service and Privacy Policy have been copied. Legitimate business always source and provide their own legal pages in order to protect both the business and customers right.

What To Do If You Got Scammed

Cancel your credit card

Immediately call your financial provider and cancel your credit card. By so doing, the credit card details you used for your transaction would become null and wouldn’t be charged in the future by the store.

Request for a new card

After the old credit card has been cancelled, ask for a new card, it doesn’t cost much to get one.Your credit card issuer will issue you a new one with different numbers.

Report the Fraud To Relevant Authorities

Report the scam to relevant authorities and organizations. This includes:

  • Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3): If you are in the United States, you can file a complaint with the IC3 at https://www.ic3.gov/.
  • Your Local Consumer Protection Agency: Contact your local consumer protection agency or the equivalent regulatory body in your country.
  • Better Business Bureau (BBB): File a complaint with the BBB if the online store is based in the United States.
