The Ecowarm Heater has been heavily advertised as a small energy-efficient heater that reduces your electricity cost by 90% while simultaneously warming up large rooms faster than the traditional heating systems. I was interested in finding out if these claims were true, so I bought a unit of this heater.
In this review, I’ll be sharing my experience with this heater and helping you decide if it is worth buying or not.
What is the Ecowarm Heater
The Ecowarm claims to cut electricity bills by 90% while heating up your rooms even the larger ones in just 10seconds. It is advertised as an eco-friendly portable and affordable heater which does the job of traditional heaters while almost eradicating electricity costs. It claims to use ceramic technology, and its safety features includes ETL certification and an auto-shutoff function.
It is sold for €59,99 on the brands website get-ecowarm.shop at a 50% discount and up to a 72% discount if you buy three at €164.99 with two free heaters as a gift.
This heater may sound like a great bargain, but it is important to note that details and actual technological facts about this heater are not available anywhere. There is also no certification contrary to their claims of being ETL certified and this all points to the falsification of most claims made.
How to use Ecowarm Heater
Despite the fact that this product didn’t come with a user manual, it is quite easy to use. To use the Ecowarm heater, simply:
- Plug it into a standard power outlet in a room of your choice.
- Adjust the temperature setting to your liking. It has three adjustments. The high, medium and low.
- Select your preferred mode.
- Enjoy the warm and cozy heat.
- Unplug or turn off the socket after use.
Sharing My Experience using the Ecowarm Heater
Heating: The ecowarm heater performed abysmal at best. After running it at the highest temperature for a couple of hours I did not notice any heat difference in my room. Only upon standing right next to it do you feel any warmth. This goes contrary to their claims of heating large rooms.
Quality: It was advertised as lightweight, but it came looking and feeling like plastic. The finishing looked inferior as if it was mass produced with no attention to details.
Noise: This product isn’t as quiet as claimed. I couldn’t sleep with its constant whirling noise and had to turn it off at night which defeated my purpose of buying it in the first place.
Durability: After a couple days of using Pyrex, it started having a burning smell and I had to discontinue using it immediately. I want a heated home and not a burning one.
Refund policy: I had unfortunately had this product past the 30-days return window so i will be keeping it with me.
The drop-shipping Scam behind the Ecowarm Heater
The Ecowarm Heater presents like a drop-shipping or affiliate marketing operation where people source for cheap and low-quality products from bulk suppliers on platforms like Temu, Aliexpress and even on Amazon only to rebrand it, create fascinating contents about the knock off products.
They then create fancy websites and creates ads that link directly to these websites. where they offer crazy discounts and promises of charge-back if the products are unsatisfactory and then sell these products sometimes for 10x the original cost.
They further fabricate their reviews, photoshop prominent celebrities into images with these products then claim endorsements from prominent media outlets all in a bid to manipulate people into buying these products.
These products are not different to the ones sold on Alibaba for $5 dollars per unit.
What I Wished I Knew Before Buying This Product
False advertisement: The Ecowarm Heater is a cheap massively produced in China product sold on Alibaba but advertised as a brand-new invention. This product relies heavily on exaggerating its capability in order to manipulate people into buying it. Their advertisement is solely based on false promises which the product cannot live up to.
Deceptive marketing: Marketed as a product that heats up spaces in seconds, but this outrageous claim has been debunked by independent testers.
Generic product images: Images used on the brands website can be found on other websites and e-commerce stores. This shows that the product isn’t originally theirs to begin with. This is a standard switch-and-bait technique.
Limited contact information: There is limited to no information about the company behind this product. There is only an email address [[email protected]] and no mobile numbers nor live-chat option. No listed physical address or company name.
Suspicious behavior: The heater is not listed available on Amazon or any other prominent e-commerce stores.
Reviews: Too many positive reviews on their website but none on amazon or any other website points to the fact that these reviews are fabricated.
Refund policy: Initially they claim they have a return and refund policy but after purchasing this product, they refuse to issue any refunds and tell the customer that the shipping cost of the returning product will be carried by the customer, and this serves as a discouragement as the shipping fee back to China is quite exorbitant.
Limited online presence: The absence of any social media pages is a huge red flag that should be taken seriously. Every reputable brand has social media accounts as a way to foster long lasting relationships with their clients while promoting sales.
What to do if you already got Scammed
Contact your bank: Contact your bank or credit card company immediately to cancel your card. Request for a chargeback on the grounds of fraud and if unsuccessful, consider requesting arbitration from your credit card issuer to recover your funds. It’s essential to reiterate and resubmit evidence to support your claim, as this can improve your chances of getting refunded.
Check credit reports: Request credit reports to check for any accounts opened fraudulently using your information. Consider placing a credit freeze if advised.
File a complaint: Submit reports about the scam to the FTC, BBB [Better Business Bureau], and other consumer protection sites. You should also provide all relevant records.
Reviews: Leave online reviews and also inform your family and friends to stop other people from falling victim to the same scam.

Conclusion
In conclusion, the Ecowarm Heater isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. It isn’t equipped with the capacity to heat an entire room especially in extreme cold weathers. It is also a cheap and massively produced product that is resold at a high markup. Consider buying this product off cheaper websites if you must.
