About The Esaver Watt Scam

The Esaver Watt scam makes use of celebrity images like Elon musk to promote this energy saver its just a trick to lure customers. The ads claim this sham device can reduce your electricity consumption by 90%, However, when we carefully researched this product and its claims we discovered that there is no such product that can reduce electricity consumption when you plug it into a wall neither was it endorsed by Elon musk.

What We Discovered

Lots of our readers have left emails with questions about this electricity saving device and we decided to do a through investigation:

Our Findings

First of all, this device is just a generic mass-produced item from China. You can find similar products on Alibaba, a major wholesale website, for a fraction of the cost.

Secondly the celebrity endorsement claims by Elon musk are fake. We’ve come across several scams like this using the images of celebrities to get customers to trust them. If energy savers were effective, every electrician would offer them and major corporations would quickly acquire the patents and include them in their appliances. Yet, we don’t see that happening.

Finally, Federal programs like EnergyStar don’t recommend energy saving devices. Additionally, university, government, research, and professional websites warn against them, providing detailed explanations of why they don’t work.

Victims Of The Scam

Here are some testimonials from victims of this scam:

I didn’t find that the digital electricity saving device saved me anything on my electric bill. I wrote to them 5 times telling them I wanted to return them for my money back and never heard from them. Stay as far away from this group of scram artists as you can.

I have 4 units installed now for 4 month and no a single Penny saved, another junk sold on the Internet to take your money with al those false reviews that probable they Paid for.

Experts Share Their Two Cents About Energy Savers

This device claim to fix something called “dirty electricity,” However, during our research, we reached out to an electrical engineer and other experts in the field who gave their candid opinion about energy savers like the Esaver device as:

  1. They have a capacitor. They are supposed to correct the power factor but they do not do it and even if they did they’d not save anything as consumers are charged only for the real power.
  2. I’m an electrical engineer and I can tell you point blank that not only do they NOT WORK, they can be dangerous. These things are made shoddily and could easily start a fire. This is because the capicator is not rated across AC line posing a fire hazard.

Final Thoughts

The Esaver Watt scam is probably one of the most successful scams that have been active for few months now. The Esaver attracts consumers using the images of celebrities and deceptive claims. It’s just a capacitor in a box, with some unnecessary components that can never save power as it claims.
