I Bought 20 ribeyes for $40 – Scam or Good deal?

By Samantha Nov3,2024

I’ve often come across white tents in parking lots and Ads on Facebook offering irresistible deal; 20 ribeyes for 40 dollar. Being on a carnivore diet, I pretty much fancied the deal but I was quite doubtful of the steak’s quality. On October 31st, I took the bait and purchase 20 ribeyes for 40 off a Facebook Ad, here’s my honest review.

20 ribeyes for 40 Bucks – A Carnivore’s Review

I spent upwards of $300 and got a ton of meat. When I brought them out of the packs, they were so thin you can barely cook them, almost 1/4 slice of  Sam’s Club ribeyes (see image below)

It was unbelievably tough like horse meat or something and hard to stab even when cooked done, so it was impossible to consume. The fillet mignon I got was so full of sinue and gristle that I couldn’t even cut it. It was also the same with the T bone – they could not be chewed up no matter how hard I tried. The seafood was slime after defrosting

Curious, I read the ingredients listed on the ‘Family Packs’ box it came in. It has so much shit. Ingredients like sugar, yeast, e.t.c Sugar yeast and what ever else that says don’t belong in red meat.

Whether it’s sold online or offline, the 20 ribeyes for $40 are not a good deal. They are low quality meats. The steaks weigh about 3 oz. They put them in fancy boxes to make you think it’s a great deal but it’s not.

When I did the calculations, it’s approximately 4.7 pounds of 20 ribeye for 40 bucks. That’s $8.50 a pound and .2-.25 lb steaks. I can get it cheaper than that when it goes on sale at the store around $4.97-6.99 a pound and a proper size steak.

It’s quite sad that lots of Google users are searching for the 20 ribeyes for 40$ deal near them. Trust me, it isn’t a good deal. The beef, seafood, and steak are crass. If you find this deal advertised on social media or in a park near you, I don’t recommend buying it. You can get better quality and prices watching for sales.
