My Experience using Muama Ryoko WiFi
I bought the Ryoko pocket-sized hotspot expecting a convenient and reliable way to stay connected with no issues while also cutting cost of data. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by several issues.
Firstly, my order took an inordinate amount of time to arrive, as it was stuck in China for over a week past the expected delivery date.
Moreso, the “free” 500MB data that came with the device barely lasted a couple of hours, and purchasing additional data was surprisingly quite expensive. The 5gb was about $30 and gets exhausted in the blink of an eye. This was clearly communicated on the website, and I felt that the product was oversold.
The signal was also patchy even with areas where my cell phone had a good signal, and the charge/battery doesn’t last. I couldn’t get my personal SIM to work on this product despite the brand saying it was possible.
When I tried to return the device, I was instructed to send it to Frankfurt, Germany, which would have cost more than product itself. Reaching the customer service was a task in and of itself as most of my messages went unanswered.
Overall, I would not recommend the Ryoko pocket-sized wireless hotspot due to its misleading marketing, poor customer service, and limited functionality.
What I Liked About This Product:
- Compact size and sleek design
- Potential usefulness for international travel
Cons:
- Expensive data plans
- Poor customer service
- Long shipping times
- Terrible signal

Conclusion:
In conclusion, my experience with the Ryoko pocket-sized wireless hotspot was disappointing. It failed to deliver on its promises with its misleading marketing and poor customer service.
While it may have some potential uses, such as international travel, I would not recommend this product to others due to its various shortcomings.
