I Tested The Elitevac Vacuum Cleaner: Here Is My Honest Review

By Nora Jan7,2025

The EliteVac vacuum cleaner is marketed as a high-end, cordless cleaning solution that promises to make quick work of dirt, dust, and debris. With its sleek design and impressive sounding features, that many people have been drawn to this product.

But is it really worth the hype? I bought it so you don’t have to.

What is the EliteVac vacuum cleaner?

The EliteVac vacuum cleaner is a cordless solution marketed as a high-end product. It claims to offer powerful suction, advanced filtration, and long-lasting battery life. The manufacturer also boasts about its lightweight and ergonomic design.

The EliteVac supposedly captures 99.97% of dust, dirt, and allergens, and comes with multiple attachments for versatile cleaning.

My Personal Experience With The EliteVac Vacuum Cleaner

I’m still reeling from the sheer disappointment and frustration I felt when my “EliteVac” order got delivered. The vacuum I received was not the one I paid for, it was a cheaper Buture model that I had never heard of. On looking it up online I found out that the difference in price was outrageous – I paid £179, but the same model was available online for £69.

The vacuum itself was a disaster. The suction power was weak, and it struggled to pick up even the smallest particles from hard surfaces. The auto mode was essentially useless, and I had to resort to manual mode, which drained the battery in about 10 minutes.

But the icing on the cake was the company’s response when I contacted them about the issue. They offered me a partial refund of £30, which was insulting considering I had paid £179 for a product that was not even close to what I ordered. They seemed more interested in finding ways to withhold my money than in providing a satisfactory solution.

The whole experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth. I feel like, actually, I know that I have been scammed, and I’m not alone as I have had the time to go online and dig deep for other customer reviews. From all i have found so far, it is obvious that this company’s business practices is designed to take advantage of unsuspecting customers.

Needless to say, I would not recommend this company to anyone. In fact, I would advise people to steer clear of them altogether. The risk of getting ripped off is just too high.

Pros

  • The design is somewhat sleek and modern-looking.

What I HATED about it

  • The vacuum itself was not the one I ordered. Instead, I received a cheaper Buture model that was nowhere near the quality I was promised.
  • The suction power was laughably at best, as it struggled to pick up even the smallest particles.
  • The auto mode was essentially useless, and the battery life was abysmal (around 10 minutes on manual mode).
  • The company’s customer service was completely unhelpful, offering me a paltry partial refund and refusing to take responsibility for their mistake.

Features

The EliteVac vacuum cleaner claims to have the following features:

  • Cordless design for easy maneuverability
  • Advanced filtration system for capturing dust and allergens
  • Long-lasting battery life (up to 40 minutes, according to the manufacturer)
  • Lightweight and ergonomic design for comfortable use
  • Multiple attachments for versatile cleaning (crevice tool, upholstery tool, etc.)
  • Auto mode for automatic suction power adjustment
  • Manual mode for customizable suction power
  • LED lights for illuminating dark spaces

How to use the EliteVac Vacuum

Using the EliteVac vacuum cleaner is relatively straightforward:

  • Charge the battery: Plug the charger into the vacuum’s charging port and let it charge for the recommended amount of time (usually 2-3 hours).
  • Turn it on: Press the power button to turn on the vacuum. The LED lights will indicate that it’s on.
  • Select your mode: Choose between auto mode and manual mode. In auto mode, the vacuum will adjust its suction power based on the surface it’s cleaning. In manual mode, you can adjust the suction power yourself.
  • Vacuum your space: Move the vacuum slowly and steadily over your floors, carpets, and other surfaces. Use the crevice tool and upholstery tool for tight spaces and delicate surfaces.

Alternatives

If you’re in the market for a reliable and effective vacuum cleaner, I’d recommend avoiding the EliteVac altogether. Instead, consider these verified alternatives:

  • Dyson V11 Absolute
  • Shark ION F80
  • Tineco A11 Master

Conclusion

In conclusion, the EliteVac vacuum cleaner is a complete and utter disappointment. With its weak suction power, useless auto mode, and abysmal battery life, it’s a product that fails to deliver on even its most basic promises. Add to that the company’s shady business practices and unhelpful customer service.
