I Tried Healifeco Ionic Foot Spa: Is It a Scam? The Shocking Truth

By Samantha Oct21,2024

Does The Healifeco Ionic Foot Spa really detox the body? Is It a Scam or Legit way to get rid of toxins? I bought the Healifeco 2.0 Ionic foot spa and I would be sharing my honest review of it.

A little background story; I came across a Sponsored Post for Healifeco Ionic Foot Spa on Facebook. The ad claimed that in just 30 minutes the Healifeco would detox and cleanse the body from toxins. Curious, I placed an order on healifeco.com and what was supposed to arrive in 4-8 working days took nearly three weeks.

My Honest Review After Using Healifeco Foot Spa

At first use, the water changed from orange to deep brown colour after about thirty minutes of soaking my feet in them. However, I noticed the Ionizer smelt like it was rusting while it was in the water. So I decided to test without soaking my feet. After nearly thirty minutes it had similar result, the water was brownish with bubbles.

I made some research on Ionic foot detox machine and discovered that the foot detox water turns brown because of several mundane reasons, namely the presence of impurities in the water. This often happens when using tap water. Also, the electricity in the product may cause some of the metal in the foot bath to corrode from use, which could account for some of the discoloration in the water.

Healifeco.com provide color charts to show different areas of the bodies that toxins can come from. In the charts the different color of the water in the foot bath, after treatment, purportedly defines where in the body the toxins have come from. This is totally false. There’s no scientific evidence to confirm Foot Detox Spa works.

Risks

The manufacturer lists a bunch of benefits but fails to tell users that they can have side effects like dizziness,  nausea, or vomiting. Healifeco Foot Spa may also affect your blood sugar levels.

Conclusion

The Healifeco Foot Spa doesn’t really get rid of toxins. Even without soaking my feet in the bath, the water turned brownish and smelt like rust. I’m currently on my self-cleansing journey and so far I have learnt no product can do so at a go.

If you’re looking for natural ways to cleanse and detoxify the body you should consider limiting alcohol, focusing on sleep, drinking more water, reduce intake of sugar and processed food, e.t.c
