Is Horror In The High Desert Real Or Fake?

By Nora Dec7,2024

The documentary series Horror in the High Desert is actually real. However, some aspects of it has been exaggerated for entertainment purposes. This series is very loosely based off the disappearance of a man named Kenny Veach in Nevada.

Why It’s Not Entirely Accurate

While the main events of the documentary series are based on real facts, major creative liberties were taken to enhance the story and suspense. This means that viewers are to be cautious when separating fact from fiction.

One of the main issues with the series is its use of exaggerated scenes. While these scenes are based on real events, they have been heavily exaggerated for entertainment purposes which makes it difficult for viewers to distinguish between fact and fiction.

More importantly, some aspects of the story are speculative, and the series explores different theories about what might have happened to the missing person. This speculative story telling style explores different theories about what might have really happened to the missing Kenny Veach. While these theories were intriguing, they were not based on fact.

Another issue with the series is its lack of any concrete evidence. While the series presents some compelling evidence and eyewitness accounts, there is no concrete proof of what actually happened to Kenny Veach. This lack of evidence makes it difficult for viewers to draw conclusions about what really happened.

The Real Life Event Behind The Series

This series is based on the actual disappearance of a man named Kenny Veach. He was a hiker who liked to take long hikes in the deserts of Nevada. On one of such hikes, he had come across a cave in the Mojave Desert which had what he described as a perfect M shaped eerie entrance.

He left immediately and later shared this story on YouTube. His comments gained a lot of activity, and he subsequently decided to go back to the cave to document it for his viewers. He tried twice and on the second attempt at finding the cave, he was never heard from or found again.
