The videos circulating about Samsung Drone Camera are all fake. The videos of the sleek looking phone are AI generated and was circulated from the YouTube page Mobile TG/ @TechnicalGuruji. Some other accounts and social media platforms have since made different videos and variations of the device.
Why It’s Fake
This video first started circulating on YouTube and has since spread to other social medial platforms. A couple things stood out to us most.
Firstly, the video shows the drone, attached on it is three cameras and even a flashlight which is connected to the phone from the upper edge. The drone is shown emerging and launching once it is activated.
While this is a pretty neat trick, the video doesn’t show the drone being deployed. There are also some discrepancies in pictures with the phone from when the drone is not activated to when it actually is. In the pictures, the drone is on the left side but when released in the videos, it shows it as being in the middle.
0n the other side, smart phone batteries are unable to power a drone of this size. Even with a special battery attached, with a drone that is supposed to fit in the small slot allocated to it, the battery won’t be able to power it for anything pass a minute.
Finally, there hasn’t been an official statement from Samsung about this phone.
The truth about the videos circulating
The videos of this phone circulating the internet are made by AI and thus not real. This is pretty obvious as all the unboxing videos never really show the phones being powered on or the drones being deployed. The idea of this phone is very exciting however, the Samsung company has not released any statement about the phone and we doubt that it will be made any time soon.
