This is of course a scam and a long running one at that. They have two other websites where they’re running similar scams called Phototek and Freezemax.

Some of the red flags I ignored but you definitely shouldn’t:
False advertisement: This heater is advertised as an 800watt unit which at 240 volts would draw 3.33 amps, however, the one I purchased only drew 1.6 amps. This means the power of a unit is 384watt.
There are two possible reasons:
- There must be something wrong with my unit.
- They falsely marketed this product as 800watts, when it is only 384watts.
Which one is it? Well, your guess is as good as mine.
Deceptive marketing: There was at no point did I feel that anything about the heater was even slightly similar to what was marketed. It didn’t warm up my small study despite being on full blast for hours. If makes no difference whether it’s turned on or off.
