Did Trendgram send you an email offering to help you grow your Instagram account organically? You must be wondering if it’s legit or scam. Can they really grow Instagram accounts with real engaging followers? Well, the short answer is NO.
TrendGram is not legit or genuine as they appear. There’s a lot of deceptive marketing and fraudulent practises behind the scene.
How Trendgram.io Actually Works
We decided to start a free trial with Trendgram after receiving an email from them. However, when we started receiving IG followers, they were odd. Usernames not matching up with profile names, accounts that are a few months fresh, and businesses that are not a part of our demographic – USA.
When we chatted up the accounts (up to ten), we got no response. Meanwhile, none of the followers engaged in our posts, which made us conclude that they are not real people but IG profiles created with bots.
Spotting The Red Flags
False Forbes Endorsement
Trendgram.io claims to have been featured on Forbes, Worldstream, Business Insider, etc. but this is untrue. When we searched on the platforms using the keyword ‘Trendgram’ there wasn’t any result found. Clearly it isn’t endorsed by Forbes and the likes.
Fake Reviews
The reviews displayed on the website are fabricated. The images when searched using Google image search, linked to unrelated profiles on social media. Meanwhile, the 4+ ratings on the bottom of the homepage aren’t real. For example, the TrendGram available on PlayStore is a totally different app and not trendgram.io.
Paid Promotion
The video reviews on trendgram.io are from paid influencers who already have massive Instagram followers before Trendgram was launched in October 2023. Clearly, Trendgram didn’t contribute to their growth.
Is Trendgram a Scam?
Though Trendgram.io portrays itself as a genuine method for growing Instagram followers organically, it’s actually a scam. It doesn’t really work as claimed. Trendgram boosts Instagram accounts with bots not real human followers. Then there’s the problem of refusing to grant cancellation request and charging users immediately the free trial ends. The only way to stop charges from Trendgram is by cancelling your credit card and getting a new one.
