Are you tired of snoring and disturbing your partner’s sleep? Have you recently come across ads of the ZComfort Mouthpiece that claims to be a solution to this common problem. This product has been marketed as a custom-fitted mouthpiece and promises to allow for mouth breathing, drinking, and talking without removal. But does it live up to its claims?
In this review, we’ll explore the ZComfort Mouthpiece and share a personal experience that may raise some red flags.
What is the ZComfort Mouthpiece
The ZComfort Mouthpiece is advertised as an innovative mandibular advancement device (MAD) designed to move the lower jar forward and keep the airway open thereby reducing snoring. The manufacturer claims that it is custom-fitted, comfortable, and allows for mouth breathing, drinking, and talking without removal.
Shipping:
The brand offers free shipping and claims it takes 3-6 days. My order was placed expecting a timely delivery, however, the shipping was delayed by a week. This was a disappointing start to our experience with the ZComfort Mouthpiece.
User Experience Of The ZComfort Mouthpiece
I bought this mouthpiece for my brother, and he was excited to try it out with the hope that it will finally fix his snoring issues. Unfortunately, his experience was a disaster.
He found the mouthpiece to be made of rigid and hard rubber, making it uncomfortable to wear. He complained of it being so bulky that it was difficult to wear or fit securely, and the hardness further kept triggering his gag reflex.
However, he persisted and wore it to bed in order to test its effectiveness but the ZComfort Mouthpiece did not help with his snoring at all. In fact, he woke up with a sore mouth the next morning due to the hardness of this device.
We referred to the instruction manual to see if there was something we missed and we saw a part where we are to put it in boiling water to soften it up which we did but this only ended up being another disaster as the pieces all fell apart.
Customers’ Reviews
A quick scan of online reviews reveals that my brother’s experience is not an isolated incident. Many customers have complained about the same issues, including:
- Discomfort and soreness
- Rigid and hard material
- Bulkiness and poor fit
- Terrible product quality
- Gag reflex triggered by the device
- Ineffective in reducing snoring, etc.
Is The ZComfort Mouthpiece A Scam?
Based on our personal experience and research, it is safe to assume that ZComfort Mouthpiece is a Scam and should be avoided.
The Scam Behind This Product
The scammers behind this mouthpiece source for cheap and low-quality products from bulk suppliers on platforms like Temu, Aliexpress and even on Amazon, rebrand it, create fascinating contents about the knock off products and spend heavily on making and spreading ads all over social media platforms.
They then create fancy websites and attach links to their ads that leads directly to these websites. where they offer crazy discounts and promises of charge-back if the products are unsatisfactory and then sell these products sometimes for 10x the original cost.
They further fabricate their reviews and then claim endorsements from prominent media outlets all in a bid to manipulate people into buying these products.
These products are not different to the ones sold on Alibaba for $5 dollars per unit.
Alternatives
If you’re in the market for a snoring solution, there are alternative options available that may be more effective and comfortable. Some popular alternatives include:
- VitalSleep
- SnoreRx
- ZQuiet
- PureSleep
- ResMed AirFit P10
Conclusion
In conclusion, our experience with the ZComfort Mouthpiece was disappointing, to say the least. While it may have worked for some, the numerous negative reviews and our personal experience suggest that it may not be the most effective or comfortable solution for snoring.
