In early November, Google users searched for details about Jewzee crypto trading. They had come across YouTube & Facebook promotions which showed Elon Musk endorsing a new crypto exchange site ‘Jewzee.com’. The video claimed you automatically get 0.16 BTC if you typed in the promo code “TAB” after joining JEWZEE crypto trading.
In my research, I looked at the website, the Ads, and Elon Musk investment portfolio. My findings reveal Jewzee.com is a scam website that isn’t affiliated with Elon Musk. I advise users not to invest. The bonus earnings are fake and can’t be withdrawn.
A Full Glance at Jewzee.com Scam Crypto Trading
Jewzee promises users huge ROI from crypto trading. The website looks like a legit platform but it utilized the anonymity of crypto world to defraud users. While investigating the site, I discovered some warning signs –
- Lack of Information: There’s no information about the company’s founders, its headquarters, and official registration. Legitimate platforms typically provide a transparent background, whereas platforms with limited public information often raise concerns.
- Recently Registered Website: Jewzee.com was launched on 3rd November 2024. New domains are not necessarily scams, but they warrant extra caution due to limited historical data.
- Not Regulated by Any Licensing Body: Jewzee does not clearly state its licensing status or regulatory compliance on its site. Crypto directories show no listing for Jewzee.com. Many legitimate platforms are registered with regulatory bodies and listed in trustworthy crypto directories.
- Poor Customer Support: While the site claims to offer 24/7 customer support, there’s no email or telephone number available to contact the business. Users of the site have reported delayed responses or no follow-up to their inquiries.
Elon Musk Free Bitcoin Deep Fake Scam
The video circulating of Elon Musk encouraging people to invest in JEWZEE have clear signs of manipulation. The videos include several different segments in which Musk appears to discuss how he came up with the idea for Jewzee
However, just like Metamoonx scam Elon Musk free bitcoin, reverse image searches reveal the footage is manipulated. The rhythm of Elon Musk’s and the anchors’ voices sound unnatural in some parts. In some parts of the videos, the voices seem to be out of sync with the mouth movements. The appearance of the mouth is also unnatural.
Also, the exchange claims to have been started by a company named StarkWare. StarkWare is legit. However, there is no mention of Jewzee on the StarkWare site nor on their “X” page nor on Musk’s X page either.
Exposing How The Jewzee.com Scam Crypto Investment Works
The scammers behind JEWZEE use fake crypto giveaway and high returns to lure users on social media. The victims targeted are mostly people who’ve little knowledge of crypto investment.
Once they fall for the scam and create an account on the platform. They’re shown the bonus amount which is in thousands of USD. To withdraw the amount, the users are asked to pay a certain fee (0.040 BTC) to verify their Jewzee account for security measures. However, after making the deposit – via crypto – they’re locked out of the website and can’t access their account again.
Multiple reports about difficulties withdrawing funds indicate that Jewzee.com is a scam that tricks users with a fake free bitcoin giveaway then proceed to scam them by asking for processing fee or tax
Additional Note
One of the warning signs of a scam crypto trading site is high returns and crypto giveaway. It is just a tactic to pull people in and make them lower their guards. Everyone loves the idea of making huge rewards, so the scammers are exploiting this angle of human error.
