Kek3 com is Real or Fake? Find Out!

By Samantha Dec20,2024

Kek3.com is not a real website to find out the password of any Wi-Fi network near you. It’s a fake website created by scammers whose aim is to get your Facebook login credentials, personal and financial details when you visit the website.

Why It’s Fake

 Kek3com claims it can find the password of any Wifi Network but fails to provide the password after users have completed the steps required. Rather, the site asks users to copy the words ”If you want to know the password of any Wi-Fi network, go to Google and type in the search KEK3. Click on the first site and then type the name of the Wi-Fi network and the password will appear for you” and paste on 15 different comment section on Facebook.

Once users click on the Facebook icon on the website to share the comments, they’re requested to put their Facebook login credentials.

This is very malicious and can lead to Password theft and Facebook account takeover. Also, leaving same comment on different posts on Facebook could lead to a Facebook ban for spamming.

Warning Signs of Kek3.com Scam

The website started functioning on September 2024. The website registration details is redacted for privacy. Clearly, the people behind the website are hiding their information from the public.

Another red flag is the poor security. kek3 com is not secured with Mcafee or Norton. This makes the website prone to hackers who can steal and tamper with Customers personal and financial information.

You’re at Risk of The Following Dangers When You Use Kek3 com;

Malware Infestation

The scam could install malware to your device during the correspondence via email. Malware is a software that is specifically designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to a computer system. It could also be used to steal your personal and financial information which would then be sold to the darkweb.

Redirects Your Browser To Unsecured and Malicious Website

Kek3.com could direct you to websites known for malicious intents. These websites often pose as survey sites but actually engage in phishing scams. Before participating in deals, you’d have to submit your personal data like; full name, email address, phone number, home address, date of birth, and payment information.
