Libertyzeay.Com Scam Online Store? My Findings

By Samantha Nov3,2024

While on Facebook or Instagram you may find Libertyzeay ads that catch your eyes. Items like magnetic chess game, magnetic bluetooth speaker, e.t.c are on sale for low prices. Unfortunately, the deals are not legit. Below, I reveal my findings on Libertyzeay.com; Why the online store sucks.

What is Libertyzeay.com?

Libertyzeay.com is an online store that sells holiday items, gifts, women’s bra, e.t.c. The store is trending due to its ongoing Christmas sale. Though the low prices look like a great bargain, the online store has some red flags which you should know;

My Findings on Libertyzeay.Com – Why I Don’t Recommend

Fake Company Address

Its address ‘5660 Lindbergh Ln, Bell Gardens, CA 90201’ isn’t that of the company. It’s the address of a logistics company ‘Sunward Logistics LLC USA’ that isn’t affiliated with Libertyzeay.

Chinese Owned

Libertyzeay.com domain registration details show it was registered by someone in Hong Kong China. It is part of a huge network of scam online stores based in China. The websites run all sorts of ads. They even run ads to AliExpress junk, like other dropshippers. Then they scam customers by sending random low-quality products.

Questionable Quality

The quality of products isn’t as great as shown on the Ads. There’s always a huge difference in design, texture, sizing, and even color.

I ordered color changing foundation for $19.00 plus shipping came to $26 something. Does not change color or minimalize pores, like its states. Its basically a moisturizer. A cheap one at that, made me break out and I’m over 50. I contacted customer service they offered me $2.00 I said no so they offered me $4.00 I said no asked for a return shipping label and a refund. They responded sorry we can’t come to an agreement. Don’t buy from them. It’s not worth it.

Might Shut Down Anytime Soon

Libertyzeay was launched again in October 2024 and would expire in October 2025. This indicates the website was created for a short term plan. Reputable websites typically register domains for multiple years, indicating stability and a commitment to their business.

Fake Reviews

The store’s reviews on TrustPilot.com call for scrutiny. Majority of the 5star reviews are from dubious similar looking profiles. Real reviews from verified reviews are very much different. Experience documented include; delayed shipping, non-delivery of items, cheap looking products, poor customer support, e.t.c

Unfavorable Return Conditions

Libertyzeay.com doesn’t provide a return shipping label for return requests. Unsatisfied customers are either given a small percentage or asked to pay exorbitant shipping cost to China.

Copied Content

The content on the website are generic. The About Us, Terms of Service and Privacy Policy have been copied. Legitimate business always source and provide their own legal pages in order to protect both the business and customers right.

Is Libertyzeay.Com Legit or Scam Store?

My findings indicate Libertyzeay.com isn’t a legit store to shop from. It’s a Chinese owned website that engages in bait and switch scam. Customers are either sent inferior products or nothing at all. This is typical of online shopping scams.

What To Do If You Got Scammed

Cancel your credit card

Immediately call your financial provider and cancel your credit card. By so doing, the credit card details you used for your transaction would become null and wouldn’t be charged in the future by the store.

Request for a new card

After the old credit card has been cancelled, ask for a new card, it doesn’t cost much to get one.Your credit card issuer will issue you a new one with different numbers.

Report the Fraud To Relevant Authorities

Report the scam to relevant authorities and organizations. This includes:

  • Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3): If you are in the United States, you can file a complaint with the IC3 at https://www.ic3.gov/.
  • Your Local Consumer Protection Agency: Contact your local consumer protection agency or the equivalent regulatory body in your country.
  • Better Business Bureau (BBB): File a complaint with the BBB if the online store is based in the United States.
