The Miniso X30 0WS is currently the rave of the internet because of its promise of translation. Various Ads and Sponsored Post on Tiktok claim this is the best low budget earbuds to buy. Is this true or false? Here’s my honest review after buying this product off TikTok Shop.

The Miniso X30 earbuds are wireless open-ear earbuds with a touch screen case that claim to offer supports over 40 languages, including English, Spanish, French, etc. The earbuds comes in a range of color with an attractive matte and sleek finishing. This gives them a modern “French” look. It costs $39.99 for a pair. It also has a flashlight and a location option similar to Apples “Find My”.
My Experience Using Miniso X30 OWS Translation Earbuds
The major reason why I bought the earbuds was because of its promised translation feature. For a price of $39 I wasn’t expecting a perfect translation but something understandable.
The instruction manual said the translation feature works with an app. To activate the translator you need to download the earjoy app. I tried it several times on my Android phone but it just wouldn’t work. Even when I gave the app bluetooth permissions to find my earbuds it couldn’t connect.
But on my iPhone the app connected immediately but only translated few Spanish words and stopped translating.
What I LOVE About Miniso X30 0WS Earbuds
Compact Design
I love the open-ear design which makes the earbuds rest over my ears instead of sitting inside the ear canal. I’ve always had the problem of my earbuds slipping off due to sweaty ears during workouts, but with the Miniso X30 OWS I didn’t experience the inconvenience of having push in the earbuds every few minutes.
Great Touch screen display
The touch screen display allows me to control music, phone calls, and other functions without having to touch the earbuds. This is a plus for me as I often mistakenly switch off my earbuds in the past when controlling it.
What I HATE About Miniso X30 OWS Translation Earbuds
Not User Friendly
The Miniso X30 OWS isn’t user friendly especially in regards to control and app connectivity. People who aren’t tech inclined might face difficulties knowing how to operate the touch screen.
Doesn’t Work Offline
Without an internet connection, the earbuds display doesn’t work. When I wasn’t connected to the screen refused to switch on.
Lacks Durability
The earbuds isn’t built to last. During my second week of use, the earbuds case fell from my work table and since then one of the earbuds no longer connects to bluetooth. This is quite unusual. I’ve had many earbuds that survived the fall from my work table.
Poor Translation Capabilities
The translation accuracy and frequency is far from perfect as advertised. Aside from the app connectivity issues experienced, the translation wasn’t in real time. It took almost 10 seconds to translate a word.
