Outfany Cooling Ace Review: A Scam? We Tried It

By Samantha Jun22,2024

Do you want to buy the Outfany Cooling Ace sold on libiyi.com? Is it really an efficient portable air conditioner or is it too good to be true? Read our honest unsponsored review.

How the Outfany Cooling Ace Works

Outfany Cooling Ace is advertised as a portable air conditioner that can be used indoor, outdoor, in the car or even in the garage. It’s said to use 40% less energy than regular portable ac, and has the following features – portable, rechargeable, customized cooling with three different modes, etc.

Our Review

Our order of Outfany Cooling Ace from libiyi.com took three weeks to arrive. It was never mentioned before purchase that the product would come all the way China. When switched on, the cooling ace doesn’t really work as advertised. It doesn’t ‘cool’ the air but rather blow air around a small area surrounding the device.

The Outfany Cooling Ace is not a portable air conditioner or air cooler as advertised. It’s just a portable fan that works best as a mini personal fan. Fans don’t operate in the same way as an air conditioning unit, and they don’t actually cool down a room. Instead, they create a wind-chill effect. The fan will blow the air around, making it easier for sweat to evaporate from your skin, thus eliminating body heat.

NOTE; The Outfany Cooling Ace is also sold under the name ‘Shirem Cooling Ace’. They are the same product.

Is Outfany Cooling Ace Legit?

The Outfany Cooling Ace sold on Libiyi.com isn’t really a scam perse, but it’s certainly sold with deceptive marketing. The 50% discount offered is just a marketing strategy. The Cooling Ace is not valued at $169 as claimed, even the discount price of $79.99 is very much expensive. The exact tower fan is available for sale on Walmart.com for $19.97. The price difference is quite much.

Even the product description on Walmart shows it’s a ‘fan’ and not an air cooler or air conditioner as advertised.

Secondly, the money back guarantee offered on libiyi.com is just a hoax. Once orders are placed in the getting a refund is very difficult. Customers are either told to keep the defective device and get 20% of their money or pay expensive shipping costs to China.
