Is Painfreehumans.com a Scam?
Dodgy Company
On Pain Free Humans Facebook page, HSK UNITED PTY LTD is listed as the company responsible for the page. Search results reveal the company is linked to a couple of poorly rated online stores; painfreeaussies.com.au, modernaussies.com.au, e.t.c.
HSK UNITED PTY LTD was formerly registered in UK Companies house under the address ‘71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ‘ but was dissolved in February 2024. It’s currently registered as an Australian company under the address ‘Victoria, unit 2303, 1, Freshwater Place, southbank, 3006, Australia’.
Located in China
painfreehumans.com pretends to be located in US and America, but in reality it’s based in HongKong China. The US address listed on its Facebook page is a fake one. 24 canal drive Simi Valley, CA 93065 is listed on Zillow as a Freetown home with 3 beds and baths. It’s unlikely for a business to be located in the building (see image below)
A customer review on TrustPilot.com mentioned the items came from China;
Ordered a pair of AU8 shoes from this company. They have a weird sizing chart and the AU8 is not actually an Australian size 8. I tried to return the shoes for a refund and they made me post them back to China. Also took a long time to arrive being shipped from China in the first place despite pretending to be an Australian based company. Never received a refund. Very disappointing.
Poor Customer Support
There are complaints that Pain Free Humans do not respond to mails sent to [email protected]. Th
False Money Back Guarantee
The 100% 30 days Money back guarantee isn’t true. Return request are often ignored. In some cases, the store offers a partial refund and asks buyers to keep the item or pay exorbitant shipping cost to China.
Inaccurate Delivery Time
The delivery time frame posted on painfreehumans.com is inaccurate. Due to the store’s location being China, it takes more than two weeks for ordered items to be delivered.
Does Pain Free Humans Ice Cooling Blanket Work?
The Ice Cooling Blanket by painfreehumans.com does not really live up to its claim. It lacks any technology or electronics to actively cool you down. The Ice Cooling Blanket is actually a breathable blanket; thin and light. You can literally find it on TEMU or AliExpress, for cheaper prices, faster delivery and will exchange no questions asked.

How To Protect Yourself From Online Shopping Scams
- Check how long the website has been functioning – The domain age of a website tells a lot about a store’s legitimacy or transparency. Websites below 6 months old are often considered unsafe. You can find out a website’s age by checking on Who.is ( a free domain checker tool)
- When using retail websites, find out exactly who you are dealing with. Research the retailer address by copying and pasting it on your browser. Does it really exist? is the retailer registered in the address or is the address that of a family home?
- When making online payments, use secure payment service. Look for a URL starting with “https” and a closed padlock symbol, or a payment provider such as PayPal. If the padlock symbol doesn’t appear near the website’s URL, then it means your personal and financial information is at risk at the store.
- Avoid Too Good to be true Discounts – any product sold at very cheap prices compared to other online stores should be treated with caution. Low prices are baits scammers use to lure unsuspecting victims
- Check for reviews Online – Are there reviews or posts about the online store online? By searching for reviews online you could also come across warning posts or complaints.
