Profitable Messages Review: Legit or Scam Telegram Bot?

By Samantha Jun1,2024

Profitable Messages is a platform that claims people can earn $30 – $50 everyday on Telegram just by answering security questions like Captcha. A lot of people want to know if it’s legit, well, the short answer is NO. Read on to find out everything you need to know about Profitable Messages.

What is Profitable Messages?

Profitable Messages (profitablemessages.com) is a platform integrated to Telegram that pays people for solving captcha – a process of verifying that a human is completing an online task rather than an automated bot.

Is Profitable Messages Legit?

Though Profitable Messages might seem a legit way of earning money on Telegram, it’s actually a scam. Real captcha solving jobs don’t pay that much. The amount of money you can earn per day by solving Captcha is typically quite low. You have to solve at least 1000 captchas to earn something between 25 cents to 60 cents.

Secondly, once you make the payment on profitablemessages.com, you’d be sent a telegram link to Profitable Messages Bot. But after typing the activation word ‘Start’, nothing happens. There’s no Captcha to solve. Nothing at all.

Even the ’30 day free trial’ promoted on profitablemessages.com is a scam offer. You’d still be charged $29 for accessing the fake tool. You’d also be a victim of;

  • unauthorized charges on your bank statement (profitablemessages.com pads customers bill with items not ordered for)
  • Automatic VIP subscription Zero feedback from the company
  • credit card fraud

Spotting The Red Flags

Aside from failing to keep to its promise, profitablemessages.com has the following red flags;

No Legal Pages

Claims to offer people an opportunity to make money online yet lacks legal pages like Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, etc. They don’t tell users what they do with their data which all legit brands and companies do.

Data like user’s name, email address, and credit card info are collected during payment but there’s no document to show how the website handles the data.

Anonymous Owner

There’s absolutely nothing online about who the owner or owners of the platform is. Even the website registration details on Who.is, show the creator’s information has been redacted for privacy. Of course, the scammers are keeping their details private because their intentions are not genuine. They do not want to be traced and taken to court for false claims and fraud.

No Customer Support

Users can’t contact the people behind the platform as there are no telephone number or email address available on the site.

Fake Reviews

The videos on profitablemessages.com are from actors who’ve been paid to create fake video reviews. They claim to have made hundreds of dollars from answering security codes but fail to show any evidence. The actors are all available for hire on Fiverr, Upwork, etc.

What To Do If You fell for This Scam

Cancel your credit card

Immediately call your financial provider and cancel your credit card. By so doing, the credit card details you used for your transaction on valthyteamwear.com would become null and void.

Request for a new card

After the old credit card has been cancelled, ask for a new card, it doesn’t cost much to get one.Your credit card issuer will issue you a new one with different numbers.

Report the Fraud To Relevant Authorities

Report the scam to relevant authorities and organizations. This includes:

  • Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3): If you are in the United States, you can file a complaint with the IC3 at https://www.ic3.gov/.
  • Your Local Consumer Protection Agency: Contact your local consumer protection agency or the equivalent regulatory body in your country.
  • Better Business Bureau (BBB): File a complaint with the BBB if the online store is based in the United States.

Our Review

Captcha entry jobs are not lucrative or high paying as advertised by Profitablemessages.com. There’s no ‘tool’ or ‘telegram bot’ as claimed by Profitable Messages. It’s all a bait to make you pay for a non-existing tool. The Telegram Captcha doesn’t work and there’s absolutely no way to contact the entity behind Profitable Messages platform. Don’t let the promotional videos on the site fool you!
