Quailcob.com Review: Is This Online Store Legit Or A Scam?

By Nora Dec29,2024

Quailcob.com is a recently launched online shopping platform that has been making waves on social media with its enticing ads and extremely low prices on pocket mini projector, electric trimmer, car seat organizer, shoes, etc. However, a closer look at the website and its operations reveals some alarming red flags that suggest it may be a scam.

In this review, we’ll delve into the details of Quailcob.com and explore why it’s best to avoid this website.

Quailcob.com Clothing Reviews – The Bait & Switch Scam

Quailcob.com advertises quality products – solar led lamps, pet toys, electric heaters, etc. for very low prices. Reverse image search showed the products displayed on the website do not belong to the store.

Due to the fact that the designs do not belong to the store, they make cheap imitation. A typical bait and switch scam. The product delivered are always below par, of poor design, sizing and texture.

Where is this Store Located?

Quailcob.com is located in China, but the website cleverly uses USD as its currency, which may be a tactic to deceive customers into thinking it’s a UK or US-based store. This misleading information raises suspicions as majority of online stores located in China provide incorrect business addresses to create the impression of authenticity and deceive customers. Upon placing an order on the store, customers receive inferior items that are below par, of different design, material, color and sizing or nothing at all.

Reasons Why You Should Avoid Quailcob.com

Insane Discounts

The site offers insane discounts which cannot be found on legitimate websites. This ridiculous price slash only serves as a means to lure unsuspecting victims to make purchases.

Recent Creation

Quailcob.com was recently created, with its domain registered barely a month ago as of writing this article. This lack of history and transparency raises concerns about the website’s legitimacy.

Contact Information

This website only has an email address listed [email protected] but no mobile numbers or contact forms.

Stolen Images

A reverse Google image search shows that most of the products on this website were stolen off original stores and brands websites.

No Online Presence

There is a severe lack of social media presence by this brand. There are no social media links or icons available on the website.

Copied content

This website design is basic and unprofessional, and it shares its contents, design, product listing and legal page with several other similar scam websites.

Is Quailcob.com A Scam or Legit?

Quailcob.com is a scam online store that operates from China. The store manufactures inferior products from a warehouse in China. The products displayed on their website are stolen off official brands websites.

Quailcob.com uses extremely low price to bait customers on social media platforms e.g. – Facebook, TikTok, etc. Social media users reported seeing Ads with very low prices tagged ‘80% off’ etc. Limited countdown timers are further used to urge people to place an order immediately.

Upon placing an order, the website Quailcob.com either fails to deliver the items or delivers inferior items. Getting a refund is totally impossible as the customer support doesn’t respond to mails, live chats and social media messages.

What To Do If You Fall For A Scam

Cancel your credit card

Immediately call your financial provider and cancel your credit card. By so doing, the credit card details you used for your transaction would become null and void.

Request for a new card

After the old credit card has been canceled, ask for a new card, it doesn’t cost much to get one. Your credit card issuer will issue you a new one with different numbers.

Better Business Bureau (BBB): File a complaint with the BBB if the online store is based in the United States.

Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3): If you are in the United States, you can file a complaint with the IC3 at https://www.ic3.gov/.

Your Local Consumer Protection Agency: Contact your local consumer protection agency or the equivalent regulatory body in your country.

Conclusion

All findings indicate Quailcob.com isn’t a legitimate online store to shop from. The unrealistic discount, fake business address, limited contact, are evidence of an online shopping scam. Shopping from Quailcob.com poses huge financial risk to online shoppers.
