The scam text message says; Tolls By Mail NY Invoice, Our records indicate that your vehicle has an unpaid toll invoice. To avoid additional charge of $76.50, please settle your balance of $7.60 at https://tollsbymailnyinvoice.com

Clicking on the link in the fraudulent text message takes victims to a spoofed New York Toll Services website that ask for credit card details for the toll fee. People who provide their credit card info would become a victim of credit card fraud. The scammers would not only deduct the fake outstanding balance but would make huge withdrawals.
