Xindang Deceit Exposed: Scam Online Store!

By Samantha Sep19,2024

Do you want to buy gaming console, kitchen utensils or tools from Xindang website? Are you wondering if Xindang is a safe website to shop from or if you’ve be scammed? Well, I investigated Xindang and found red flags that indicate it’s a fraudulent online store;

Xindang Reviews

Xindang is currently trending for its discounted tools, gaming & VR products, mobile phones, e.t.c. The store has a handful of websites (renturshop.shop, vetherhop.shop, e.t.c) which it sells different products for cheap prices. It might seem like a good deal, but the low price is a bait to lure customers to an online shopping scam.

Remember the saying ‘if it’s too good to be true it certainly isn’t true’? This applies to Xindang.

What makes Xindang a Scam Online Store?

Zero Trustworthiness

A first glance at the Xindang online stores reveal some loopholes; an email address that doesn’t correspond with the website’s name. The websites list ‘[email protected]’ as its email address. This doesn’t reflect the brand name. Online search reveal the email address is linked to a handful of suspicious websites; vertherhop.shop, renturshop.shop, e.t.c.

No Business Address

The website fails to mention where it’s located. The About Us and Contact Us page only contain generic content that doesn’t provide the location of the store.

No Customer Support

Customers can’t reach the store via the email provided as mails sent to the email address bounced back as ‘Undelivered’. [email protected] isn’t a functioning email address to reach Xindang store owner.

Lacks Social Media Presence

The social media icons on the website aren’t linked to any social media pages. It is an uncommon mistake for a legitimate business.

Recently Registered Website

Xindang website was launched on August 2024 and would expire in August 2025. The online store has only been functioning for few weeks. It’s a fairly new website that has no reputation to vouch for.

How Does Xindang Scam Works?

Xindang online store uses huge discounts to attract buyers to the website. Offering a good bargain that can’t be gotten elsewhere, the site uses a countdown timer to urge people to place an order without doing due dilligence.

When the store receives payment for the products selected, it fails to send a confirmation mail. In some cases, it would send fake tracking info. No items are delivered, and all efforts to speak with the customer support are futile. Also, aside from not sending the items paid for, the scam store could perpetrate the following frauds;

  • unauthorized charges on credit cards
  • Automatic VIP membership subscription – Victims get charged a monthly subscription fee for unwanted items such as online health magazines etc.

How To Get Your Money Back from The Seller

  • If the product hasn’t been shipped yet, contact the store immediately to cancel order.
  • Request a chargeback if you’ve used a credit card .
  • If you used PayPal, contact their customer support right away and provide any receipts or proof of purchase.
  • Contact your bank immediately if you paid via wire transfer or electronic funds transfer.

Were you scammed by Xindang? Report the online store to the Federal Trade Commission at www.ReportFraud.ftc.gov. The FTC advises reporting a business if you even suspect fraud. Each report filed can make a difference in preventing future scams.

Tips on How to Protect Yourself From Online Shopping Scams

  • Check how long the website has been functioning – The domain age of a website tells a lot about a store’s legitimacy or transparency. Websites below 6 months old are often considered unsafe. You can find out a website’s age by checking on Who.is ( a free domain checker tool)
  • When using retail websites, find out exactly who you are dealing with. Research the retailer address by copying and pasting it on your browser. Does it really exist? is the retailer registered in the address or is the address that of a family home?
  • When making online payments, use secure payment service. Look for a URL starting with “https” and a closed padlock symbol, or a payment provider such as PayPal. If the padlock symbol doesn’t appear near the website’s URL, then it means your personal and financial information is at risk at the store.
  • Avoid Too Good to be true Discounts – any product sold at very cheap prices compared to other online stores should be treated with caution. Low prices are baits scammers use to lure unsuspecting victims
  • Check for reviews Online – Are there reviews or posts about the online store online? By searching for reviews online you could also come across warning posts or complaints.
